The board has arrived. I'm hoping to get a day in on it before the season closes. We went with a basic logo design on the base and a picture of our daughter for the top sheet. She has been very influential in my life and it seems the only time I'm not with her is when I'm shredding, no longer. The photo came out a bit distorted on the actual board but it looks pretty sweet. Boards can be designed with custom top sheets if you're interested in a GG shred stick.

Spring Park

Finally a picture of this seasons park. After the month or so of sunshine it is a bit depleted, but with the snow of recent its looking better.
This is a shot of the front portion including, wall 2 tree, tree jib, 2 seperate rails, and a mini spine. Not pictured... log rail to right hand side and fun box to the left. In the back yard there is 8-10ft. drop in to spine leading into main park. It also drops to the back yard with a hip leading into another log rail and a mini quarter pipe. The majority of the back yard features have melted already.
Also in company news... There's a GG Hat Co. demo board being built by Revolution Snowboard Company. Sneak peek of graphics coming soon. We are also currently working on a collaboration with RockyMountainUnderground. Stay Tuned.

The 2nd Annual Essi Jib Jam took place this past Saturday. A large crowd turned out and fun was had by all. The kids seemed stoked on the hats.Part of the back yard set up, GG banner in white.
Team rider Mike Baker showed up, but was limited due to injury. Nollie back lip.

Its been a busy summer. Updates to the Website will be happening soon. New styles and color patterns will be popping up, so keep checking back. There's been new snow in the hills already and lots lingering from last winter.

Where Did the Winter Go?

Well the winter has come and gone, still plenty of snow around though. Business was slow but we were able to get a lot of hats out there so hopefully next season will be better. We were able to sponsor a couple of local events,an A-Basin Rail Jam and the annual CMC Rail Jam here in Leadville. Lots of new ideas and hat creations came about this winter, but the biggest thing was the addition of team member Naava Kaya Faye Gibson.

Here she is in 2 of her 1st 3 hats. The first is when she was 2 days old and the next is around 2 months. I'm sure she will help inspire all kinds of new creations.

Well the Holidays came and went, many enjoyable days with family and new snow. More beanie designs and pics coming soon. Awaiting the arrival of GG Team member BP coming mid January. Lots of pics will be posted then.... Maybe.. New member to the GG family coming soon.............Our first little jibber.

Well its been snowing, snowing, and snowing a bit more. We got 16" a few days ago and its back. We have about another foot, so the shovel has been busted out. Here are some pics of what that shovel was up to.

No new pics. Turkey was excellent, time spent with family was nice. Updates to the website and mySpace page are ongoing. A bit more snow for the mountains and Copper has their SuperPipe open!!!! Think SNOW!!

Feeling Like An Old Man

We decided to go skating Sunday after a failed attempt at fixing the chainsaw. Nothing like falling on concrete numerous times to remind you what pain feels like and that yes I am almost 30.

So after the Leadville session we decided to travel down to Salida for some vert bowls. Kids are progressing so quickly nowadays. There were 2 young teens going head high out of the clover bowl, crazy. Another reminder of getting old. We'll be headed out to Copper this afternoon, at least I can keep up with the kids on the shred stick. Hoping to get some pics with some super warm beanies. THINK SNOW!!!!!!!!
